Benjamin Ekmekjian, Esq.

Benjamin Ekmekjian is an employment litigation attorney who represents workers in wage and hour and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters throughout California. His practice centers on the enforcement of the California Labor Code, with particular emphasis on employee misclassification, unpaid wage claims, and representative actions brought on behalf of aggrieved employees. He brings a detail-oriented, litigation-ready approach to complex, multi-plaintiff disputes, and is committed to holding employers accountable for wage and hour violations.

Mr. Ekmekjian earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2020, where he served as a Note and Comment Editor of, and was published in, the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship, and the Law, and received the Dean’s Merit (full-tuition) Scholarship. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, cum laude, from California State University, Long Beach. He is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of California and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He is fluent in Western Armenian.
