Cathy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, before attending Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. While in law school, she honed her legal skills as a law clerk at a civil litigation firm, where she later began her career as an attorney. There, she gained invaluable experience in all aspects of litigation from the inception of cases through trials, and appeals.
